Leagues Secretaries, “Important” once again the IRS is asking that a review be done for all of our subordinates. I will be making all necessary changes in regards to: new secretaries, address changes, etc. . Anyone desiring to become a Subordinate cannot be added to our GIN (group exemption number) without an EIN. To obtain an EIN number you must request a Form SS-4, Application for Employer Identification Number. I will be reviewing the following leagues which the IRS has listed as subordinates: 1)Lighthouse Metro, NY – 2)Buffalo , Kenmore – 3)Salt City, Syracuse –4) Rochester, Rochester –5) Harrisburg, Harrisburg –6)Erie Independent, Erie –7) Greater Cleveland, Cleveland –8) Canton, Canton – 9)Chicago Braille, Chicago –10)Flint, Flint –11) Rock County, Janesville – 12)Pin Splitters, Belleville – 13)Milwaukee, Milwaukee – 14)Maryland , Montgomery Village – 15)D C , Landover – 16)Peninsula, Norfolk – 17)Forsyth, Winston Salem – 18)Modesto, Modesto – 19 )Mile High , denver If your league name does not appear, you are not under the Group Exemption for ABBA. If you have sent an EIN # to me and you are not listed, I need to know, or as in the case of 2 leagues, letters were recently sent, requesting that they be added. Please do not become confused by this, it simply means, if you have an EIN # and you want to be under our Group, I need your number before May 1st ,along with: Complete Name, Address, Chapter Name , filing code (1) = gross receipts over $25,00, or (2) = gross receipts $25,000 or less.
